In Texas, the first case of a Swine Flu fatality in the U.S. has been reported on this date, April 29, 2009.

The victim was a 23-month old child.  He had recently been on a trip wherein he was visiting Mexico.  This is where he is suspected to have caught the virus.

Before this absolutely no deaths have been reported as occurring from Swine Flu outside of Mexico.

The director of the CDC - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has confirmed this death has occurred and that it was the result of the Swine Flu.

The symptoms that people are experiencing are far too varied and too much like the common cold and regularly experienced influenza that it is difficult for medical personnell to get a handle on what symptoms to be most suspicious of.

Reports of new potential Swine Flu cases are being heard around the globe.
